Day 1: Capri. We set off on a tour to the blue island of Capri from Marina di Stabia, crossing the bay of Sorrento and sailing along the villages of the Sorrento peninsula. Once on Capri, the first stop-over is the ‘Grotta Azzurra’, i.e. the Blue Cave. We shall embark on the characteristic small boats which expert boatmen maneuver to slide into the narrow entrance of the cave. Then keeping sailing around the island, we will reach The Green Cave and, at last, the bay of Marina Piccola, where you can take a refreshing dive. At dusk we disembark in order to enjoy the nightlife of Capri.
Day 2: Agropoli. Sailing to Agropoli, crossing the Gulf of Salerno. An excellent opportunity to throw some lines at the stern of our boat. If we are skillful and lucky enough we will have dinner guaranteed once we have docked at the port of Agropoli ... though not before having taken a refreshing dive into the crystal clear waters of the Bay of Trentova.
Day 3: Acciaroli. After breakfast we set sail for Acciaroli, another beautiful village in Cilento. According to the local people, Ernest Hemingway stayed in Acciaroli in the 1950s and drew inspiration from this place for his book "The old man and the sea". Once disembarked, we drive to the hamlets of Pollica and Pioppi, where the American physiologist Ancel Keys lived with his wife for 40 years. You will have a picnic on the boat afterwards, tasting some local products.
Day 4: Palinuro. Leaving Acciaroli, we set sail for Palinuro. The name of this village is due to the fact that, in the Aeneid, Palinurus, the helmsman of Aeneas, fell into the sea and after 3 days reached the land, but was killed by locals. Today we can make an optional stop in Ascea to visit the ruins of Velia, or the old village of Pisciotta.
Day 5: Marina di Camerota. In an hour we reach Marina di Camerota, the tourist center par excellence thanks to its beautiful beaches, awarded with the Blue Flag for the environmental quality and sustainable tourism. We will spend the whole day on the boat, swimming, relaxing and sailing through the numerous beaches and bays – such as the Bay of Infreschi, Cala Bianca, the Piscine, La Masseta – which are included in the Marine Protected Area. In the late afternoon we disembark at the port in order to go for a walk in the center and have dinner in a local restaurant.
Day 6: Marina di Camerota. We shall spend the day to explore the Marine Protected Area, discovering the flora and fauna of this area, thus observing a unique biodiversity that can hardly be found elsewhere in the Mediterranean. Our navigation will begin immediately at nightfall. We will sail all night and, at the crack of dawn, will reach one of the mythical villages of the Amalfi coast: Positano.
Day 7: Positano. Breakfast on board in the calm waters of the Bay of Positano. Those who want to may disembark and go for a walk through the alleys of Positano, enjoying its shops and boutiques. The rest can stay on board to relax and swim. Immediately after lunch we will set sail heading towards Marina di Stabia where we shall arrive at 5:00 p.m.
