An exciting experiential excursion in the Murgia of Matera, a land inhabited by the human being since the Palaeolithic until the present times with no interruption. The landscape, the sounds, the colours and scents of this lands make this experience a sensorial and emotional journey. Starting from the meeting point, the first stop is the Neolithic entrenched village, where trenches and hypogeum tombs testify the presence of various civilizations throughout the time. Then, the pathways, delimited by the traditional drywall surrounded by vegetation, lead to a high-middle age hermitage, facing an incredible view of the ravines and the Sassi of Matera. Following the pathway, the final arrival is a Jazzo (a typical fence for sheeps), where animals and humans practised transhumance.
