The Gole di Candela is a pristine naturalistic area - the first wilderness area of Basilicata - located at the foot of Monte Coppolo. Enjoy climbing the gorges while being fascinated by numerous waterfalls and the colorful rock layers that belong to different geologies. Afterwards, the tour continues in Rotondella, known as “the balcony of the Ionian” since it is located between the Ionian sea and the Pollino National Park. The strategic location of the city allows you to admire the breathtaking views on the Gulf of Taranto, the Calanchi Lucani and the Pollino National Park at the same time.
