The Regional Park of Rupestrian Churches is situated on the wide highland of Murgia and has been part of Unesco World Heritage since 2007. It is a hilly open area, characterized by deep karstic slits called “Ravines”. The spectacular landscape unfolds on the other side of the canyon and allows you to enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the entire Sassi area. During this hiking tour you will follow quite a steep trail that leads to the Gravina stream at the bottom of the valley. Enjoy a magnificent journey in the nature and discover a Rupestrian Church in the midst of lush vegetation in the company of a licensed guide, who will reveal all the secrets of the park, explainig both historical notions and the use of herbs by our ancestors.
